The University of Arizona is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to support daily campus transit operations, monitor routes, and ensure reliable service for students, staff, and visitors. CDL training is covered for selected candidates, and incentive pay is available.
Responsibilities include coordinating routes, supervising vehicle readiness, coordinating with maintenance vendors, and assisting with staffing and training to maintain service levels.
This position will support the daily transportation operations to ensure program effectiveness and team consistency in providing safe and reliable transit service for the University students, staff, and community members and reports improvement opportunities and concerns to the Transit Operations Manager. They will ensure program operations are conducted according to department and industry standards, and policy. The coordinator helps maintain consistent service by monitoring routes, vehicle readiness, and real-time transit systems, while ensuring operations align with department and industry standards. This position partners closely with drivers and team members, provides operational support, and communicates issues or improvement opportunities to the Transit Operations Manager.
Interested applicants who do not have a CDL are encouraged to apply! Parking and Transportation Services will cover the cost of the required CDL training and licensing for selected candidate. Employees can also earn up to $2,250 of incentive pay.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
