Job summary

The University of Arizona’s Facilities Services, Events department, is seeking a career-minded mover to support campus events by loading, delivering, and setting up equipment across the university. You will work on a 40-hour schedule and may be required to drive university vehicles daily, with evenings and weekends expected.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive per University Fleet Safety Policy.
  • Must work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in loading and unloading of equipment.
  • Deliver tables, chairs, podiums, stages, linens and other equipment from warehouses to event sites.
  • Set up and remove seating and equipment for special events.
  • Drive trucks to transport furniture, equipment, and materials to and from event locations.
  • Operate liftgates on trucks as needed for loading and unloading purposes.
  • May maintain vehicles and moving equipment.
  • Provide support in maintaining and cleaning equipment as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and assist with client questions or concerns.
  • Help maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.

University Facility Services Events department is looking for a career minded candidate to join our team as a Mover. The Special Events Team cares for the beautiful University of Arizona campus, employees, and campus community. Duties & Responsibilities

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport a maximum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to workin extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications
