Job summary

HDR, Inc. in the Central Region seeks a Transit Market Sector Leader to partner with regional management and the Global Transit Market Sector Director to develop and execute transit and rail market strategies for the Central Region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in transportation planning and/or engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, planning or a related field.
• If an engineer, maintain engineering registration.
• Experience in development and management of strategic marketing programs for planning and/or engineering services.
• Experience in development and management of a wide range of client relationships and specific program and/or project pursuits.
• Experience in staff development including recruiting, career path and professional growth.
• Industry involvement with a visible market-sector profile.
• Ability to work with Market Sector Directors, Business Class Directors, Regional Business Group Directors and Area Managers.
• Demonstrated commitment to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline projects and programs across market sectors and geographic areas.
• Drive program growth for transit, intercity, and freight rail markets and support strategic growth regionally.
• Support capture planning efforts, pre-proposal visits, and proposal coordination with technical and marketing staff.
• Provide senior technical support, quality oversight, and development of best practices.
