Athens Transit Department is seeking a maintenance/cleaning staff member to support daily transit operations. This safety-sensitive role involves fueling, washing, and servicing buses, and responding to breakdowns as needed.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a Class B CDL with passenger endorsement within six months. The position is on-site with a Mon–Fri 2:30 PM–11:00 PM schedule.

Help keep Athens Transit buses and bus stops clean, safe, and running every day. You’ll perform basic maintenance on buses (like checking fluids and changing tires), clean vehicles, maintain bus stops, and support daily transit operations.
