Transdev seeks an Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Specialist to support development, integration, performance, and maintenance of advanced transit systems in Arlington. The role links Operations, Technology, and Planning to deliver efficient, safe, reliable, and data-driven services.

You will help implement CAD/AVL, APC, real-time signage, and digital information systems; coordinate with vendors and internal teams; analyze ITS data to support planning and performance; and provide user

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Planning, IT, CS, or Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving transit environment.
Proficient with Windows; excellent Word, Excel, Outlook.
Clear communication in English; standard business hours with some weekends/overnights.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining ITS applications (CAD/AVL, APC, real-time info, digital signage).
Assist in planning, procurement, implementation, and lifecycle management of ITS projects.
Coordinate with vendors and internal/external partners to ensure project delivery.
Collect, analyze, and report ITS data to inform service planning and performance.
