Job summary

WeDriveU in Collier County, Florida, seeks a Senior ITS Analyst to lead the technical resources for its Intelligent Transportation Systems on the county's bus operation. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, engineering, transportation technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Five or more years of experience supporting enterprise, fleet, transportation, or transit technology.
• Direct experience with transit CAD/AVL or related bus ITS systems strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting integrated hardware/software environments, vendor systems, cellular communications, device configuration, databases, APIs or data feeds, and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to work on or around transit vehicles and participate in off-hours support during major outages, upgrades, or service changes when required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical administrator and SME for transit ITS apps and onboard tech.
• Monitor system health and resolve hardware, software, communications, configuration, and data issues affecting buses, Dispatch, passenger information, or other connected transit systems.
• Administer CAD/AVL functions for real-time vehicle location and schedule adherence.
• Support onboard components and integrations (GPS/AVL, counters, announcements, cameras).
• Maintain configuration data for vehicles, routes, stops, and user accounts.
• Coordinate service changes with Planning to validate GTFS and passenger data.
• Develop dashboards and reports supporting operations and performance analysis.
• Provide technical training and support to dispatchers and maintenance staff.
• Participate in incident response for major ITS outages.
