Job summary

Butler County Regional Transit Authority seeks a Planning & Technology Technician to support asset management of bus stop signs and fleet ITS equipment in Hamilton, Ohio. The role involves collecting location data with geospatial technologies, creating GIS dashboards, surveys, apps, and performing analyses to understand ridership patterns.

This is an entry-level, part-time position with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at minimum an associate's degree.
• Bachelor's degree and GIS coursework are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tracking logs of work scheduled and completed tasks.
• Collect field data using GIS technologies and cartographic tools.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair fleet ITS as directed by the Transit Planning Manager.
• Analyze data in Excel and ArcGIS Pro.
• Attend training events and meetings as assigned.
