Job summary

Pasco County, FL is seeking a Transit Asset and Data Specialist – ITS Tech to manage data analytics and asset inventories for a full-service transit agency. You will install, maintain, and repair ITS devices across GoPasco vehicles and report performance to funding sources.

Responsibilities include maintenance of AVL, AVA, APCs, and other transit software, plus coordination with IT and vendors. A valid Florida license is required, with ADA accommodations as applicable.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree or higher in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Engineering, Diesel Technology, Automotive Technology or related field; OR a High School Diploma or GED with two years of transit/ logistics experience.
• Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license; State of Florida Class A or B contractor’s license preferred.
• Proven ability to collect, organize, and report transit data and maintain asset inventories.

Responsibilities

• Organize, maintain, and track data analytics and asset inventories for the transit agency.
• Install, maintain, and repair ITS devices on GoPasco vehicles.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot ITS hardware and software.
