Job summary

GoTriangle is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service, inspect, and clean buses and other fleet vehicles in a public garage setting. You will perform routine maintenance, document work, and communicate issues to mechanics while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Applicants should have a strong driving record, basic mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate in adverse weather. A Class B CDL with passenger endorsement is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Six years driving experience with a good driving record.
• Basic knowledge of fundamental mechanics.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with staff and customers.
• Must be able to report to work during Adverse Weather conditions.
• Must have or be able to obtain a class B Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement.
• Must meet DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily servicing, inspecting, and cleaning of buses and GoTriangle vehicles; remove vaults from fare boxes.
• Complete multipoint inspections and wash/vacuum vehicles before return.
• Check and replace fluids, filters, bulbs, wiper blades, tires; perform basic tire work as needed.
• Record maintenance invoices in Fleet Maintenance software and generate check requests.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and report issues to a Mechanic.
• Provide road call service for disabled vehicles.
• Adhere to Safety rules and use proper safety equipment at all times.
