Qualifications

Evidence of a safety-first attitude.
One year progressive heavyequipment maintenance preferred.
Two years technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Must have computer skills for the ability to repair sub-components of all types of buses.
Must have the ability to read and follow schematics.
Customer-focused attitude with professionalism and discretion.
Detail-oriented, able to operate independently with limited supervision.
Experience with diagnostic computer equipment and software.

Responsibilities

Inspect/diagnose/repair/replace brake systems, fuel and emission systems, drivelines, steering and suspension to ensure proper operation.
Use in-ground/above-ground hoists and hydraulic jacks to raise equipment for inspection and repair.
Perform routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, lubrication, battery maintenance, etc.).
Test-drive/operate buses and related equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
Repair/adjust seats, doors, windows and vehicle accessories; install components.
Emissions-related diagnosis and repairs; service calls on vehicles and equipment.
