Job summary

Pace Bus is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to coordinate maintenance activities across nine divisions, ensuring warranty procedures are followed and repairs tracked. Under the direction of the Regional Manager, you will provide technical and non-technical support and train maintenance personnel where needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 3 years in transit bus maintenance, and a valid Class A CDL.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
• Must have at least 3 years' experience in a transit bus maintenance environment.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, scheduling and project management software; able to document duties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance activities and oversee warranty procedures across divisions.
• Review material reports and submit capital maintenance reports; report findings.
• Write and distribute service bulletins and procedures; assist in interviews.
• Investigate vehicle problems (air systems, brakes) and assist inspectors as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
