Job summary

RATP Dev USA in California is seeking a visionary Maintenance Manager to set the vision and lead maintenance supervisors and teams. This role requires a leader who can delegate effectively, uphold OSHA guidelines, and foster a positive, efficient work environment.

The position focuses on safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence while coordinating with Safety, Risk, and CI teams to maintain cost-effective transit services.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Federal, State, and Local maintenance laws.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and supervising staff.
• Ability to interact with public officials and diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of bus maintenance principles and policies.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with teams and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote a diverse, inclusive, healthy work environment.
• Oversee maintenance programs and OSHA compliance.
• Lead Safety, Risk, and Continuous Improvement teams to drive improvements.
• Manage budgets and track expenses for cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with Directors and external agencies on maintenance projects.
• Present maintenance topics to various groups and stakeholders.
• Review daily maintenance reports and policies.
• Negotiate with vendors on warranty issues and funds recovery.
