Job summary

St. Cloud Metropolitan Transit Commission is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all Metro Bus maintenance, fleet and facility operations.

You will supervise mechanics, fuelers and cleaners, manage inventory, and ensure safety and documentation standards are met. The role requires a two-year degree or technical certification, 3+ years of management experience, and a valid Class B Minnesota license with passenger and air brake endorsements.

Qualifications

• Two year degree or certification from a technical or community college.
• Two or more years of experience in automotive or heavy-duty vehicle mechanics.
• Three or more years of management and supervisory experience.
• Must have or obtain within 90 days a valid Class B Minnesota Driver License with passenger and air brake endorsements and current DOT medical certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance needs of Metro Bus fleet, equipment, facilities and grounds.
• Supervise Mechanics, Fuelers and Facility & Bus Cleaners.
• Maintain inventory and ensure timely maintenance records and documentation.
• Manage safety compliance and scheduling, including road calls and repairs as needed.
