Job summary

St. Cloud Metropolitan Transit Commission is seeking a Fueler to fuel, check fluids, and clean buses and staff vehicles. The role requires operating buses and related equipment and maintaining safe working practices.

You will work primarily in a maintenance setting with evening shifts and must have a High School Diploma, 1 year of vehicle/maintenance experience, and a valid Class B Minnesota Driver License with passenger and air brake endorsements and a current DOT medical certificate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year vehicle maintenance or cleaning experience.
• Valid Class B Minnesota Driver License with passenger and air brake endorsements; DOT medical certificate.
• Must read and speak English well enough to understand instructions and communicate with team.

Responsibilities

• Fuel CNG and Diesel buses using tricorder per SOP.
• General bus cleaning and maintenance; inspect and report defects.
• Garage/grounds cleaning and maintenance; snow removal as needed.
• Perform bus switch outs as needed.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and customers.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE and safe practices.
