Job summary

LB Foster Transit Products Division seeks an Engineering Manager to lead initiatives in product design, manufacturing, supply chain and quality assurance. You will drive design decisions, validate through tests, and coordinate with internal teams and customers to deliver reliable transit solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 6+ years in the field, and 2+ years in management, with Rail exposure and SolidWorks proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of managerial experience preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in rail industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Solidworks CAD and Solidworks PDM.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering initiatives for product design, manufacturing, and support in the Transit Products Division.
• Develop new technologies and incorporate into differentiated products.
• Coordinate design reviews and justify design selections.
• Create test programs for product validation and quality assurance.
• Manage engineering documents and support ISO quality processes.
