Job summary

HNTB in Nashville, TN is seeking an Intern to support our Planning Group on infrastructure projects. You will assist project teams with basic tasks, conduct data collection, and help develop maps, exhibits, and reports under close supervision.

Enrolled in an undergrad or graduate program, you will gain hands-on GIS experience, learn to organize records, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver clear, visually compelling documents for transportation planning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in related undergraduate or graduate program.
• Strong problem-solving skills and interest in GIS and transportation planning.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Assists project team members with various support tasks.
• Conducts basic research and data collection.
• Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
• Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports.
• Performs other duties assigned.
