Job summary

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, PE license, and 6+ years of experience. Hybrid work option with three days remote supports collaboration on complex programs for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) mandatory.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review roadway geometry, plans, and design documents to standards.
• Perform site reviews and inspections for quality and conformance.

Job description

Deliver the planning, design, and delivery of innovative roadway and transportation transit projects. This role provides the opportunity to shape project direction in areas such as roadway design, structures, traffic engineering, and intelligent transportation systems.

The job:

• Develop and deliver transportation infrastructure design tasks, such as Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), Light Rail Transit (LRT), Complete Streets, transit facilities, traffic engineering, intelligent transportation systems, and roadway design.
• Develop and review roadway geometry, plans, and design documents to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, supporting high‑quality, constructible solutions.
• Conduct site reviews and inspections of transportation facilities, verifying design intent, construction quality, and adherence to project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
