Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs field service maintenance on two-way radio, headsign, public address, digital video, and silent alarm systems on buses and coaches.
• Bench repairs to circuit boards and electronic components in radios, video recorders, and fare collection gear.
• Installs electronic equipment including fareboxes on coaches and other Metro vehicles.
• Programs and uses test equipment to troubleshoot electronic systems.
• Maintains records and reports of maintenance activities.
• Suggests improvements to equipment and servicing methods to enhance reliability.
