Job summary

The City of Clovis is seeking a dispatcher to provide customer service and dispatch duties for transit services. You will schedule ride requests, assign drivers, and maintain daily logs while ensuring ADA processes are followed.

This role requires a high school diploma and at least six months of dispatching and record-keeping experience. Under general supervision, you will coordinate vehicle maintenance, assist with audits, and produce operational records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six (6) months of dispatching and record-keeping experience.
• Experience in public transportation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Schedule ride appointments and assign drivers.
• Dispatch trip requests to drivers via two-way radio or electronic device.
• Prepare and maintain daily driver/dispatch logs.
• Provide customer service information on Clovis Transit Services.
• Assist in preparation of transit operational reports and ADA processes.
