Job summary

RATP Dev USA is seeking a Diesel Mechanic for a permanent, full-time position with pension and full benefits. The role pays 33.00 to 37.71 USD per hour and requires 2+ years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a North Carolina CDL or ability to obtain one.

Candidates should have CMMS experience and the ability to read schematics, with duties including maintenance of BEB/ADA systems and other transit vehicle components.

Qualifications

• Must have a safety-first attitude.
• Must have CMMS skills to create/complete work orders and log parts/time.
• Must interpret schematics and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Customer-focused, professional, detail-oriented, and able to troubleshoot technically.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment and 5 years of heavy equipment maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs with safety as a priority.
• Operate CMMS for work orders, parts usage, and time tracking.
• Interpret schematics and diagnose issues across multiple vehicle systems.
• Maintain strong documentation and communication with non-technical parties.
