Job summary

RATP Dev USA is seeking a ParaTransit Mechanic B/C Tech for the GoWake project, focusing on safe operation and routine maintenance of transit buses. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical/electrical issues and performing preventive maintenance with a strong safety focus.

You will work with diagnostic tools like Cummins Insite and Allison DOC, require a high school diploma, and prefer prior heavy equipment maintenance experience. Team collaboration and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

Evidence of a safety-first attitude and strong adherence to safety protocols.
One year of progressive heavy-equipment maintenance preferred.
Two years of technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Must have computer skills to repair sub-components of all bus types and read schematics.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on buses.
Test drive and diagnose malfunctions to ensure proper operation.
Repair and adjust braking, fuel, emission, driveline, steering and suspension systems.
Maintain accurate records of work history in electronic repair orders.
Ability to work in a 24/7 environment and collaborate with team members.
