Job summary

Schunk Carbon Technology Limited in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking a Manufacturing/Design Engineer to join our technical team. You will develop and modify drawings and schematics using SolidWorks and Creo, and help create work instructions, tooling, and processes for multiple product lines in our Transit Business Sector.

You will work under a Senior Engineer and collaborate with the Center of Excellence in Germany to optimize product designs, ensure manufacturing efficiency, and support

Qualifications

• Proficient with SolidWorks and Creo for drafting and schematics.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and how to translate designs to parts and assemblies.
• Ability to work toward a Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Design degree.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise manufacturing/product drawings using Creo and SolidWorks.
• Develop and revise mechanical drawings and electrical schematics with guidance from Senior Engineer.
• Create work instructions for assembly operations and product testing.
• Assist with assembly process development and Production Excellence standards.
• Organize and modify assembly areas to ensure efficient workflow.
• Design work cells with tools, fixtures, jigs and methods for multiple products.
• Collaborate with customers during development to optimize performance and costs.
• Update Product BOMs and Process Routings in SAP.
