Schunk is seeking a Manufacturing/Design Engineer in Wisconsin to develop, modify, and optimize mechanical drawings and assembly processes for the Transit Business Sector. You will work under a Senior Engineer and collaborate with a Center of Excellence in Germany to ensure design integrity and cost efficiency.

The role emphasizes creating work instructions, developing tooling, and implementing Schunk Global Standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Experience with SolidWorks and Creo.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
• Progressing toward a Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Design degree.
• Understanding basic manufacturing processes and methods.
• Ability to work in both office and factory setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Create and revise manufacturing/product drawings using Creo and SolidWorks.
• Develop and modify mechanical drawings and electrical schematics with guidance from Senior Engineer and Center of Excellence in Germany.
• Develop work instructions for assembly operations and product testing.
• Assist with assembly process development and production standards.
• Organize and modify the assembly area to ensure efficient workflow.
• Design work cells with tools, fixtures, jigs to support assembly operations.
• Interact with customers during development for reviews and recommendations.
• Manage Product BOMs and Process Routings in SAP.
