Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering; electrical knowledge a plus.
• Minimum of three years mechanical design experience.
• Proven track record of cost-effective new product designs.
• Experience with sheet metal and casted components.
• Familiar with GD&T and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products, equipment and systems using SolidWorks.
• Perform mechanical/structural analysis (FEA) with SolidWorks/ANSYS.
• Create bills of materials and drawings for prototypes and products.
• Estimate manufacturing costs and support industrialization and profitability.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to meet project targets.
