Job summary

Metropolitan Council is seeking a Supervisor, Transit Control to manage and coordinate transit service, respond to incidents, and dispatch Transit Police for events across the Twin Cities region. Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include management or lead experience and five to seven years in transit, public safety, or related fields.
• Experience in supervision or mentoring others is required.
• Strong decision making and incident response abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate transit service to ensure scheduled service is provided.
• Respond to and resolve incidents, emergencies, and security issues.
• DispatchTransit police and coordinate agency responses.
• Oversee on-time performance and provide supervision to operators.
