SF Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) seeks a Resident Engineer (Civil Engineer) for the Train Control Upgrade Project to ensure on-site construction, installation, integration, and testing of the CBTC system. You will act as the on-site representative, enforcing plans, specs, and safety standards throughout seven project phases.

The role requires a California-licensed PE with at least five years of civil engineering experience and involvement in rail or transit infrastructures.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of verifiable professional civil engineering experience.
• Current Certificate of Registration as a Professional Engineer in California (Civil).

Responsabilités

• Acts as on-site engineering representative for construction and installation of train control systems.
• Reviews construction plans for constructability and code compliance.
• Develops, signs and stamps civil construction drawings as needed.
• Conducts field inspections to verify contractor work meets contract documents and safety protocols.
• Coordinates field activities and track access with operations and maintenance teams.
