Job summary

Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee RTC-owned transit amenities, signage and related facilities. You will supervise contractors, ensure timely completion, and maintain inventories and records for multiple bus stop sites across the Las Vegas area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with journey-level experience, the ability to operate tools and a vehicle, and strong coordination with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 2 years journey-level experience overseeing contracted work.
• Experience maintaining transit amenities and signage preferred.
• Ability to manage inventories and procure supplies for maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect RTC-owned transit amenities and oversee contractor work to ensure quality and timelines.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is performed per specifications.
• Draft scopes of work for procurements and service contracts.
• Maintain accurate records in the bus stop database and related documentation.
• Operate a company vehicle safely to job sites and supervise on-site work.
• Respond to contractor inquiries and coordinate temporary relocation of bus stops for construction.
