The Placer County Department of Public Works is hiring an Administrative Dispatcher to support the Tahoe Area. Qualifications

• Two years of experience performing duties comparable to Administrative Clerk – Entry with Placer County.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Proof of adequate vehicle insurance and medical clearance may also be required.
• Safety sensitive role subject to DOT regulations (49 CFR Part 40) and related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist Transit staff and the public with transportation needs.
• Serve as liaison between the County and state/local agencies.
• Maintain reporting and transit databases as part of daily duties.
• Provide transit fare guidance to customers as requested.
