Job summary

Cube Root Corporation is seeking a Joint/Adjacent Construction Engineer in Washington, DC to manage and execute WMATA-adjacent projects. You will plan, coordinate, and track joint, reimbursable, and adjacent construction work, working with WMATA and external agencies to meet project objectives.

The role requires a background in construction management or engineering, with strong project coordination skills and familiarity with WMATA guidelines and design review processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, a High School Diploma or GED plus four years of construction management experience.
• Seven years of construction field or management experience preferred, with transit/adjacent projects advantageous.
• Roadway Worker Protection training preferred; Procore/PMIS experience preferred.
• MS Office suite proficiency and familiarity with project management software.

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute the joint development and adjacent construction program.
• Plan, coordinate, communicate, and track joint, reimbursable, and adjacent projects.
• Coordinate with WMATA and external agencies to meet project needs and timelines.
• Review design documents and coordinate multidisciplinary WMATA reviews.
• Maintain project files, prepare progress and closeout documentation.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering

High School Diploma or GED + 4 years construction field experience
