Job summary

KBR is seeking a Transient Aircraft Services Technician (Secret Clearance) to perform aircraft ground handling and servicing operations at a designated site. You will marshal, park, service, turn-around, and depart aircraft while ensuring safety and compliance with the PWS and applicable directives in a high-tempo environment.

The role requires a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance and 3–5 years in aviation operations or related fields, including hands-on flight line work.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
• Maintain operational continuity across rotations and work within government governance rhythms.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or Transient Aircraft Services.
• Hands-on experience working on a flight line or in aircraft ground operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ZERO Harm workplace by adhering to flight line safety requirements.
• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, and positioning per Technical Orders.
• Execute aircraft arrival/departure services including chocking, grounding, and safe positioning.
• Conduct aircraft servicing for turn-around and mission readiness.
• Assist in launch and recovery operations with Supervisors and Airfield Management.
• Inspect and service equipment, vehicles, and ground support equipment.
• Maintain tool accountability and comply with tool control programs.
• Participate in FOD prevention and routine flight line inspections.
• Follow Technical Orders, safety directives, and SOPs during servicing operations.
• Communicate effectively with Supervisors and team members to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, and operational issues promptly.
• Support documentation: servicing records, shift logs, and inspection checklists.
