Job summary

KBR, through AFCAP V, provides Southwest Asia Transient Aircraft Services (SWA TAS) and supports 24/7 flight line operations. The TAS Technician executes ground handling, servicing, and turn-around tasks at an assigned installation, reporting to the Supervisor and ensuring safe, compliant aircraft support.

This role requires strict safety adherence, experience on a flight line, and ability to operate in austere environments while coordinating with supervision and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or Transient Aircraft Services.
• Hands-on experience working on a flight line or in aircraft ground operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a ZERO Harm workplace by adhering to flight line safety requirements.
• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, and positioning according to Technical Orders.
• Execute aircraft arrival/departure services, including chocking and grounding.
• Conduct aircraft servicing and ground handling to support turn-around and mission readiness.
• Assist in launch and recovery operations with supervision and Airfield Management.
• Inspect and service designated equipment and vehicles used in TAS operations.
• Maintain tool accountability and comply with tool control programs.
• Participate in FOD prevention and routine flight line inspections.
• Follow Technical Orders, safety directives, and SOPs during all operations.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure safety and efficiency.
