Job summary

KBR is hiring for the AFCAP V program as a Transient Aircraft Services Technician to support Southwest Asia TAS. The role covers aircraft ground handling, marshaling, parking, servicing, turn-around, and departures ensuring safety and compliance with PWS and airfield directives.

This position requires 3–5 years in aviation operations with hands-on flight line experience and the ability to operate in austere environments while maintaining 24/7 readiness.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain/maintain SECRET clearance.
• 3–5 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or Transient Aircraft Services.
• Hands-on experience on a flight line or in aircraft ground operations.
• Ability to work in austere environments and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ZERO Harm workplace by adhering to flight line safety and PPE rules.
• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, and positioning per Technical Orders.
• Execute arrival/departure services, including chocking and grounding.
• Conduct aircraft servicing for turn-around and mission readiness.
• Assist in launch/recovery operations with Supervisors and Airfield Management.
• Perform operator-level inspections of equipment and vehicles used in TAS.
• Maintain tool accountability and participate in FOD prevention activities.
• Follow Technical Orders, safety directives, and standard operating procedures.
