Job summary

KBR is seeking a Transient Aircraft Services Technician to support U.S. Air Force TAS operations. The role covers aircraft marshaling, parking, servicing, and turn-around to ensure mission readiness on an austere, 24/7 flight line.

Responsibilities include safety-first ground handling, coordination with supervisors, documentation, and use of ground support equipment, while maintaining compliance with safety directives and performance work statements.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or Transient Aircraft Services.
• Hands-on experience working on a flight line or in aircraft ground operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a ZERO Harm workplace by strictly adhering to all flight line safety requirements.
• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, and positioning per Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute aircraft arrival and departure services, including chocking, grounding, and safe flight line positioning.
• Conduct aircraft servicing operations to support turn-around and mission readiness.
• Assist in aircraft launch and recovery operations with Supervisors and Airfield Management.
• Perform operator-level inspections of equipment used in TAS operations.
• Maintain tool accountability and comply with tool control programs.
