Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division in Wisconsin is seeking a Welder for the 3rd shift (Transformer). The role involves operating various welding equipment in transformer assembly lines for general production, including low voltage welding and robotic welding.

The position offers $26.20 per hour plus $2.50 shift premium, overtime opportunities, and a $3,000 sign‑on bonus paid in two installments. Work hours are 11 pm to 7 am, with safety, benefits, and potential for career progression.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year assembly experience.
• Minimum of 1 year welding in a manufacturing environment and/or 1-year welding diploma completed.
• Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Relocation benefits not included; within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment including plasma arc, TIG, MIG and robotic welders.
• Read basic prints and use instructions to guide welding tasks.
• Operate material handling equipment (cranes, hand trucks) as needed.
• Install weld-on and bolt-on covers and perform pressure tests.
• Perform low voltage aluminum/copper welding and covers welding.
• Work in transformer assembly positions as required.
