Job summary

Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Reliability Quality Technician to ensure transformers returned under RMAs comply with internal processes. You will photograph, tag, inspect, and document RMAs, tracking status daily and coordinating with SCM, Engineering, and Production.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline.
• Fundamental knowledge of electric circuits and electrical apparatus.
• Experience with quality tools including RCA and CAPA.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in RMAs scheduling and daily follow-up meetings.
• Photo and record incoming RMAs, tag, label, and document condition.
• Inspect RMAs on arrival and report defects for feedback to teams.
• Update the RMA status tracker daily.
• Collaborate with SCM, Engineering, Production, SIOP, and PMs.
• Assist with repair/rebuild stages and audits (internal and external).
• Support QA system improvements and final inspections before shipping.
