Job summary

City of Lincoln in Sharon, PA is hiring a Full Service Technician to recondition, reassemble, and test transformers at 670 S Dock St. The role requires strict safety compliance and quality control, with hours Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Read and follow work orders, gather parts and tools, perform cleaning, oil changes, basic repairs, and run basic tests before units leave the station. Preferred HS Diploma/GED, mechanical and transformer experience, OSHA10, and a proven safety record;

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• Mechanical and transformer experience preferred.
• OSHA10 certification preferred.
• Proven safety record required.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Meet department and production goals.
• Ensure product quality meets client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Reconditioning, reassembly and testing of transformers.
• Follow work orders and ensure customer specifications are met.
• Gather parts and tools and ensure they are in good condition.
• Perform cleaning, replace gaskets, change oil and perform basic repairs.
• Conduct quality checks and tests before units leave the workstation.
• Operate shop equipment safely and return it to proper location.
