Hours: Full-time / 40 hours

Starting Salary: $17.50 - $22.00 /hour based on qualifications

Benefits include Group Health Ins. after 90 days, paid vacation based on time with company

Responsibilities

In this function you will:

JOB OVERVIEW

Transformer Production Team Member that assembles and manufactures parts for transformers as well as finishing and testing the final product.

Qualifications:

·Prior experience in a production setting preferred

·Right to work in the U.S.

·Minimum Education high school diploma or general education degree.

·Must be able to read/write English.

·Perform basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, and figure fractions and percentages).

  • Ability to operate equipment including operating table saws, shears, lathes, grinding equipment, drills, as well as packaging material and palletizing.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools

·Familiar with and able to operate production equipment and machinery

·Sharp attention to detail in favor of identifying defects

·Punctual, and driven hard worker

·Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision

·Able to stand for long hours at a time

·Ability to take and follow direction

·Physically able to lift, carry and move up to 60lbs

Transformer Production Worker Responsibilities:

Essential duties: Include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

·Operate machinery to assist in the production process

·Operate forklift

·Assemble materials and equipment as required

  • Operate warehouse management system equipment to receive supplies.
  • Operate electrical testing equipment as required

·Conduct inspections and quality control of products

·Assist in the loading, off-loading and transportation of raw materials as well as lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required

·Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met

·Observing basic hygiene, food safety and GMP practices when conducting assigned job duties

·Carry out setups and adjustments

·Perform equipment maintenance as needed

  • Adherence to all safety measures and standards
Qualifications
  • Familiar with basic measuring tools (Calipers)
  • Able to read and interpret detailed wiring diagrams, and drawings.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic shop tools
  • Be able to follow written and verbal directions.
  • Good eye hand coordination and manual dexterity skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • High skilled assembler
  • Electronic aptitude, electrical schematics, control panel experience.
  • Must know how to wire a transformer per electrical schematics.
  • Must have a strong understanding of electrical schematics
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Minimum six (6) months experience in mechanical or electrical assemblies
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic computer skills
  • Forklift certified
  • Prior experience in production related work
