Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Transformer Assembly Technician for the 2nd shift in Wisconsin. You will build large transformers, using mechanical and electrical skills to assemble components, verify quality, and ensure safe operation.

Expect to earn $26.20–$27.77 per hour plus a $2.50 shift premium, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments. Overtime may be required and beneficial for increased earnings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI facility; relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

• Assemble transformer components using hand and power tools.
• Install internal components, leads, bushings, and switches.
• Position cores and coils in transformer tanks.
• Inspect assemblies, verify clearances, and perform electrical checks.
• Operate material handling equipment and work with a team to ensure safety and quality.
