Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Assembler (Stacker) for 2nd shift in Wisconsin. The role involves assembling transformer components, setting up stack tables, and welding core clamps. You will move heavy parts with a forklift and crane, while ensuring quality through burr and alignment checks. Overtime may be required.

The position offers a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits, with weekly pay and a shift premium of $2.50/hour. Minimum education required is a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility; relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

• Assemble coils, steel cores, and clamps to initiate the building process for transformers.
• Set up stack tables for proper dimensions and stack steel according to specifications.
• Weld core clamp assemblies in place and operate stacking tables and related equipment.
• Move materials using a forklift and overhead crane as required.
• Monitor edge burrs and waviness; adjust blades and coordinate with supervisor.
• Ensure proper core alignment and perform quality checks during assembly.
