Job summary

Eaton in Wisconsin seeks an Assembly Technician for 3rd shift to build 3-phase transformers in a continuous flow line. You will install core and coil assemblies, wire components, and verify clearances and resistance.

Requires 6 months manufacturing experience and HS diploma or GED; U.S. work authorization. $3,000 sign-on bonus, weekly pay, and day-one health benefits. Overtime may be required; shift 11pm–7am with $2.50/hr premium.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required to qualify.
• Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience.
• US work authorization required now and in the future.
• No relocation benefit offered; candidates within 50 miles preferred.
• Preferred: 1+ year electrical assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble transformers externally and internally to tanks with core coil assembly.
• Wire components and meet specifications using blueprints/schematics.
• Check lead clearances and assemble spacers or insulating barriers as needed.
• Perform resistance testing on pad-mounted transformers.
