Job summary

Eaton is seeking an assembler for our Tanker 2nd shift in Wisconsin, focusing on the production of transformers in a continuous flow environment. The role emphasizes meeting customer service requirements and quality standards while supporting team members on the line.

Compensation includes $26.20/hour base plus a $2.50/hour shift premium, with overtime possible; a $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered, paid in two installments. Benefits begin day one, with weekly pay and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing role.
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.

Responsibilities

Assemble current transformers externally and internally to tanks by installing core coil assembly and external/internal components and completes wiring to meet designed specification through the use of crane, handle tools, and other wiring related equipment, as well as use of blue prints, schematics, and bill of materials.
Check all lead clearances inside unit and assemble needed spacers and/or insulating barriers as required.
Perform resistance testing on small pad-mounted transformers.
