Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks licensed Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in Minnesota, serving elementary through high school students with significant needs at Rivertrail Learning Center. Roles run late August 2026 to early June 2027, full time, Monday–Friday.

You will develop IEPs, collaborate with paraprofessionals and families, and implement tailored instruction for students with complex behavior and academic needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4).
• Experience in a Setting 4 program for students with severe disabilities is valued.
• Experience with Elementary through High School students.
• Strong skills in behavior management, differentiated instruction, and teamwork.
• Resume and MN license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction and support tailored to students with the most significant behavioral and academic needs.
• Develop, write, and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and district administrators.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes academic and behavioral growth.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and ongoing district training.
• Communicate effectively with families and staff members to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
