Job summary

SchoolHiring (Division of ExpertHiring) seeks a full-time Special Education Teacher for Rivertrail Learning Center in Coon Rapids, MN. You’ll join a team that values dedicated service to students with significant needs and work with a range of ages from elementary through high school.

This contract position starts Aug 25, 2026 and ends June 10, 2027, onsite. The caseload is high-need Settting 4 with collaboration across staff to provide comprehensive supports.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Tier 3 or Tier 4 Minnesota Special Education Teaching License.
• Experience with high behavioral needs and severe disabilities is relevant.
• Experience working in a Setting 4 or similarly intensive special education environment.
• Ability to work with students ranging from elementary through high school.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a full-time Special Education Teacher at Rivertrail Learning Center.
• Work with students with severe disabilities and significant behavioral needs.
• Teach students ranging from elementary through high school.
• Manage a Setting 4 caseload, involving students with the most severe disabilities and highest behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to provide comprehensive support to students.
