Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking licensed Special Education Teachers for a contract role in the Saint Paul, MN area. Immediate start available through June 11, 2027, with students starting September 8.

Positions offer 37.5 hours per week within a full school-year calendar and flexible site placements. The assignment includes collaboration with general education and related services staff, IEP development, and progress monitoring, with compensation aligned to district and union pay structures plus

Qualifications

• Current, active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required).
• Direct experience in a school-based special education setting.
• Understanding of individualized instruction, IEP writing, and progress monitoring.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to support various locations (site preferences discussed).
• Positive record of employment with area districts (prior district experience reviewed).

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students with varying exceptionalities.
• Develop, implement, and document Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service staff, and families.
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance with state/district guidelines.
• Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and growth.
