Job summary

Soliant Health in Minnesota is seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to support students with developmental cognitive disabilities during the 2026-2027 school year in onsite classrooms. You will work with dedicated teams to deliver tailored programs across middle school grade levels.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families and multidisciplinary staff, development and monitoring of IEPs, and fostering inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications

• Requires Minnesota teaching credential in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (tier 3 or 4 license).
• Experience with resource or RISE programs, especially middle school.
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and effective parent communication.
• Commitment to IEP best practices and specialized instructional strategies.
• Adaptable approach for diverse learners across development stages.
• Excellent organizational skills for documentation and reporting.

In this onsite role, you will champion tailored programs across a range of grade levels, focusing on students who benefit most from expert intervention.

Preferred Background and Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota teaching credential in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (tier 3 or 4 license required)
• Demonstrated experience with resource or RISE programs, particularly within middle school settings
• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators
• Commitment to upholding best practices in individualized education plans and specialized instructional strategies
• Adaptable approach to meet the needs of diverse learners at varying developmental stages
