Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California seeks an educator to lead IEP development and provide targeted instruction within an inclusive, anti-racist classroom. You will collaborate with instructional coaches and leadership to set goals, analyze data, and adapt lessons for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Hold a B.A./B.S. degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Meet one of the following eligibility requirements: teaching credential or provisional permit or short-term staff permit.
• CPR certification is a prerequisite for the permit.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IEP development and implementation in accordance with state and federal law.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop measurable annual goals in academic, behavior, and social-emotional areas.
• Provide specialized instruction and related services through various service models.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and inform instructional practices.
• Develop daily and long-term lesson plans aligned with IEPs and KIPP’s mission.
• Collaborate with general education to differentiate and modify learning materials.
• Train staff to support instruction delivery.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment with restorative practices.
• Implement culturally responsive classroom management and strong partnerships with families.
