Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California seeks a dedicated Special Education teacher. You will design and implement IEPs, deliver inclusive instruction, and collaborate with families and school leaders to promote student growth.

The role emphasizes restorative practices, data-informed planning, and culturally responsive teaching across Bay Area campuses. A B.A./B.S and SPED credential or eligible permit are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a B.A./B.S from a regionally accredited institution.
• Meet one of the following eligibility requirements: valid SPED credential, provisional permit, or short-term staff permit.
• Experience teaching students with diverse demographics.
• Commitment to inclusive, anti-racist education.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement IEP development and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with Leadership Team and general educators to set goals.
• Provide specialized instruction and behavior supports as assigned.
• Collect and analyze data to inform instruction and family reports.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom with restorative practices.
