Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy required or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Current NYS license to practice as a Physical Therapist, or limited permit for outpatient settings with supervision.
• 3.0–3 years of relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Administers direct patient care per prescription from the referring physician.
• Uses evaluation techniques with efficiency and thoroughness.
• Designs a treatment program to achieve goals.
• Monitors patient tolerance and status, adjusting as needed.
• Responds to department emergency procedures for safety and care.
• Submits documentation per department policies.
• Participates in quality improvement chart reviews.
• Attends family meetings and interdisciplinary staff discussions.
• Performs related duties as essential functions under ADA.
