Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and actualizes long-range and daily instructional plans.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning and age-appropriate.
• Assume responsibility for the safety, conduct and health of the students under supervision.
• Ensure physical upkeep of the classroom and equipment is maintained.
• Guide the learning process toward curriculum goals and establish clear objectives for lessons, units, projects.
• Assesses students' progress and communicates with parents as needed.
• Employ a variety of instructional techniques and media.
• Strive to implement the district's philosophy of education and objectives.
• Serves on building and district committees that develop curriculum and enhance instruction.
• Maintains and updates records pertaining to attendance, assessments, and reports.
