Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist for home health on a PRN basis. You will assess patient needs, plans of care, and deliver therapy to improve functional status and daily living activities in patients' homes.

The role offers competitive compensation with total cash target pay between $75,998 and $113,997 per year, plus benefits. You must hold OT licensure in the practicing state and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides service within scope of OT practice in plan of care with health team coordination.
• Evaluates functional status and CMS-required information; consults with physician on therapy plan.
• Observes, records and reports patient response to treatment to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Conducts patient assessments to evaluate function using standard tests.
• Function in home settings for patients of all ages and backgrounds.
